navame daśame bhānau jāyate kuṭilā gatiḥ ||
dvādaśaikādaśe sūrye bhajate śīghratāṃ punaḥ ||
aṭṭaśyatāṃ punarloke vrajantṛyarkagatā grahāḥ ||
when the Sun is in the ninth or tenth, a crooked motion arises; / when the Sun is in the twelfth or eleventh, it attains swiftness again; / and the planets that have reached the Sun pass into invisibility in the world.
