prācyādi sapta sapta kramena dhiṣṇyāni kṛttikādīni/
anulomāny ekatvaṃ pūrvottaraś roṇitarayoś ca//
In order, seven lunar mansions each, beginning with Kṛttikā, [pertain to] the East and the other quarters; / in direct order, there is unity also of the two [pairs] of eastern, northern, and [southern] ears.
