ahnaḥ pañcadaśāṃśo rātreś caivaṃ muhūrta iti saṃjñā/
sa ca vijñeyas tajjñaiś chāyāyantrāmbubhir yuktyā//
The fifteenth part of the day and likewise of the night is designated a muhūrta; / and that is to be ascertained by those skilled in it through reason, with shadows, instruments, and water-clocks.
