śīrṣodayeṣu vijayo bhaṅgaḥ ṣaṣṭhodayeṣu lagneṣu/
diganuddhāreṣu jayo vidvāraṣv āvaho(have)bhaṅgaḥ//

In ascendants rising by the head there is victory; in those rising by the back, defeat; / when the quarters are unobstructed, there is victory; when doors are closed, there is defeat in battle.
