ārohati kṣitipatau vinayopapanno yātrānugo 'nyaturagaṃ pratiheṣitaś ca/
vaktreṇa vā spṛśati dakṣiṇam ātmapārśvaṃ yo 'śvaḥ sa bhartur acirāt pracinoti lakṣmīm//
When the king mounts, if a horse, endowed with discipline, follows the expedition, neighs toward another horse, / or touches its right side with its muzzle, that horse quickly heaps up royal fortune for its master.
