The Long Āgama Sūtra 1.57

1.57

佛告比丘：「諸佛常法：毗婆尸菩薩當其生時，從右脇出，地為震動，光明普照。始入胎時，闇冥之處，無不蒙明，此是常法。」爾時，世尊而說偈言：

The Buddha told the monks, “This is the way it always is with buddhas. When he was born, Bodhisattva Vipaśyin emerged from his mother’s right side. There was an earthquake, and a radiance illuminated [the whole world], just as it did when he first entered her womb. There was no place of darkness that wasn’t illuminated. This is the way it always is [with buddhas].”

The Bhagavān then spoke in verse:
