爾時，帝釋白佛言：「我於喜樂、念樂中，欲求五功德果，何等五？」即說偈言：
Lord Śakra said to the Buddha, “From that joy and happiness, I’m going to pursue five fruits of virtue. What are the five?”
He then spoke in verse:
