2.80

時，五百隷車聞菴婆婆梨女已先請佛，各振手而言：「吾欲供養如來，而今此女已奪我先。」即從座起，頭面禮佛，遶佛三匝，各自還歸。

When they heard that Āmrapālī had invited the Buddha first, those 500 Licchavis snapped their fingers and said, “We wanted to give offerings to the Tathāgata, but this woman beat us to it!” They rose from their seats, bowed their heads to the Buddha, circled him three times, and returned to their homes.
