The Long Āgama Sūtra 22.24

22.24

時，五百婆羅門白種德言：「甚奇！甚特！彼之功德乃如是耶？若彼於諸德中能成一者尚不應來，況今盡具！宜盡相率，共往問訊。」

Those five hundred priests then said to Śroṇatāṇḍya, “Amazing! Extraordinary! Does he have such virtues? If he were to achieve just one of these virtues, he still shouldn’t come [here to us]. How would it be if he were endowed with all of them? It would be fitting for us to come along and greet him.”
