The Long Āgama Sūtra 3.57

長阿含經 3.57

Language
Classical Chinese

3.57

「『昔我於靜處,獨坐自思惟;
時梵天王來,普放大光明;
我從彼聞已,不樂於世間。』

“‘Before, I was in a quiet place
And sat alone in contemplation.
It was then that King Brahmā came;
He shined with a great radiance.
After hearing what he said,
I’m not happy with the worldly life.’
