The Long Āgama Sūtra 3.59

3.59

「『小住大典尊，共弘善法化；
然後俱出家，汝即為我師。
譬如虛空中，清淨琉璃滿；
今我清淨信，充徧佛法中。』

“‘Wait a while, Great Govinda,
Share your good teaching with me.
Afterward, we’ll both leave home,
And you’ll be my teacher.

Just as the sky
Is full of pure lapis lazuli,
Now am I of pure faith,
Full of the Buddha’s teaching.’
