" 'The devas of Trāyastriṃśa and Śakra delight in one another;
They pay homage to the Tathāgata, the supreme King of the Dharma.
The devas receive the reflected blessings: lifespan, appearance, fame, pleasure, and majesty;
Having cultivated brahmacarya under the Buddha, they have therefore come to be born here.
There are also devas whose radiant appearance is exceedingly majestic;
Disciples of the Buddha's wisdom, reborn here they are even more sublime.
Trāyastriṃśa and Indra, contemplating this, rejoice of themselves;
They pay homage to the Tathāgata, the supreme King of the Dharma.'
