爾時，五比丘白世尊曰：「瞿曇！本苦行時，尚不能得上人之法，況復今日意情錯亂，言得道乎？」

The five monks then said to the Bhagavān, “Gautama, when you practiced asceticism before, you still weren’t able to attain the state of a superior man. How could someone whose thinking was confused say today that he has attained awakening?”
