Gayā Kāśyapa then thought, “Now, these two brothers of mine knew much and were erudite. This must be a virtuous place for my two brothers to stay here as religious mendicants. I can also stay here as a religious mendicant.” Gayā Kāśyapa then went before the Bhagavān and said, “Please, Bhagavān, permit me to become an ascetic!”
