Mahavadanasutra 1.3

一時，佛在舍衛國，國中有婦人，子字無延，因號無延母。佛將五百比丘，到無延母家，殿上坐飯。飯已，有數十比丘，於屏處相與共語言：「佛是我所尊事神無極，佛自在意變化，何等不作知已去佛及當來佛年紀、壽命、父母、姓字、弟子幾人？所施行志意教令？」

At one time, the Buddha was in the country of Śrāvastī. In that country there was a woman whose son was named Wuyan, and she was consequently called Mother Wuyan. The Buddha took five hundred monks and went to Mother Wuyan's house, sitting in the main hall to eat. After eating, several dozen monks spoke together in a secluded place, saying: “The Buddha is the one whom we revere and serve; his spiritual power is boundless. The Buddha transforms at will—what could he not do? Does he know the ages, lifespans, parents, clan names, number of disciples, and the practices, aspirations, and teachings of the past Buddhas as well as the future Buddhas?”
