16. While the Degé and Stok have rgyal ba dag and rgyal ba rnams respectively, several other Kangyurs have mchod rten dag. See, for example, the Choné, Lhasa, Lithang, Narthang, and Yongle. Translating mchod rten instead of rgyal ba, the line would read, “How, by making offerings to stūpas, do people obtain the various rewards they desire in other lives?”
