「諸比丘！於意云何？譬如緣膏油及炷，燈明得燒，數增油、炷，彼燈明得久住不？」
“Monks, what do you think? Take the example of oil and a wick being the conditions for lighting a lamp. Doesn’t the lamp’s light last longer when more oil and wick are added?”
