“Toward the ear, nose, tongue, body, thoughts; sounds, scents, tastes, sensations... toward dharmas, thought consciousness, and mental contact, or mental contact conditioning the arising of sensations: aware of suffering, aware of joy, or aware of neither suffering nor joy, he gives rise to dispassion for these.
