21. Up to here, Z reads merely, “Or, having fashioned a caitya, having worshiped it…”; it is quite likely that some text was lost here. Having said that, it is odd that the canonical reading has “having performed worship in the same way” and then repeats the articles of worship. Therefore, it appears that we have some contamination.
