Homage to the Three Jewels.

Homage to the glorious Buddha,
The perfectly awakened one, wise about the world,
Who first taught the vidyā-mantras
On the Jambu continent.

I also pay homage to all buddhas,
Those present, past,
And yet to come—
I go to them all for refuge.

Homage to Dīpaṅkara,
Unexcelled turner of the wheel.

James Gentry, Great Cool Grove
