The Bhaiṣajyavastu was translated into Chinese in the early eighth century ce by Yijing,¹⁷ and while there is no Chinese translation of the independent mahāsūtra version as such, a tenth-century translation by Fatian of a text similar to the Mahāmantrānusāriṇī, the Fo shuo da hu ming da tuo luo ni jing,¹⁸ provides another parallel.
