Here the Sanskrit reads “how can one eliminate all the sufferings specific to nāgas of all the nāgas and send, with joy and happiness, abundant rains to the continent of Jambudvīpa, time after time?” (sarvanāgānāṃ sarvanāgaduḥkāni pratipraśraṃbhyeyuḥ praharṣitāḥ sukhasamanvitāśceha jambudvipe kālānukālaṃ varṣadhāra utsṛjeyuḥ).
