There are many Sanskrit witnesses of the uṣṇīṣavijayā dhāraṇī proper,² and the uṣṇīṣavijayā dhāraṇī text translated here survives in at least one incomplete early Sanskrit manuscript.³ There is also at least one surviving Sanskrit uṣṇīṣavijayā dhāraṇī work that is closely related to the remaining four uṣṇīṣavijayā dhāraṇī texts described above in that it shares the same opening narrative and some of the ritual material with those texts.⁴
