43. Sanskrit reads, “Then, great king, when the first consciousness pertaining to birth has consecutively arisen, there arises, without interruption, the mindstream concordant with one’s fortune, in which the experience of the result of the previous actions is perceived” (tasya ca mahārāja aupapattyaṃśikasya prathamavijñānasya samanantaropapannasya tatsabhāgāvicalā cittasaṃtatiḥ pravartate yatra karmaṇāṃ vipākasya pratisaṃvedanā prajñāyate).
