42. The Sanskrit names for the sorts of gandharva and bhūta spirits are given with variants in the canonical editions as well as in Cds. We have followed D and A here, but are unable to ascertain the correct Sanskrit names for these spirits and have simply given the Tibetan transcription as is. Cf. S, L: ba tsi na and ba ra hin ti.
