"Just as, noble son, there is an elixir named Hāṭakaprabhāsa, one pala of which turns a thousand palas of iron into gold, and that one pala of elixir cannot be consumed or turned into iron by that thousand palas of iron; just so, the single elixir-element of the arising of the mind of omniscience, embraced by the gnosis of dedicating roots of virtue, consuming all the iron of the obscurations of karma and afflictions, turns all phenomena into the gold of omniscience; nor can the elixir-element of the arising of the mind of omniscience be consumed or turned into that by the iron of all karma and obscurations of afflictions."
