yasmiṃś ca samaye bodhi-satvo viveka-vāsena mahā-yāne * abhyudgacchet tasmin samaye taṃ bodhi-satvaṃ vaiyāvṛtya-palibodhe niyojayanti vaiyāvṛtyaṃ bodhi-satvena + a-vaśyaṃ karaṇīyaṃ ||

And at the time when a bodhisattva might advance in the Great Vehicle through living in solitude, at that time they direct that bodhisattva toward the impediment of administrative duties, [saying,] ‘Administrative duty must necessarily be done by a bodhisattva.’”
