yadi te tasya vacana-kāriṇo bhavanti + īdṛśaṃ dṛṣṭi-gatam upagṛhṇīyuḥ | ubhayor api mūla-āpatir bhavati + iyam ādi-karmikasya bodhi-satvasya caturthī mūla-āpattiḥ ||
"If they act upon his word and adopt such a dogmatic view, there is a root downfall for both. This is a novice bodhisattva's fourth root downfall.
