punar a-paraṃ gṛhī dhana-laulyena putra-laulyena karma-vipākam a-śraddadhat putrasya vā duhitur vā bhāryāyā vā jñāti-saṃghasya + aiśvarya-sthāne vartamāne pravrajyā-antarāyaṃ karoti | anena dvitīyena + iti ||
"Furthermore, a householder, driven by greed for wealth and greed for sons, not believing in the ripening of karma, creates an obstacle to the going forth of his son, daughter, wife, or family members when the opportunity for authority arises. Through this second [quality]."
