indriya-tīkṣṇa-prabhāsvara yeṣām tehi vivarjita pāpaka-mitrāḥ | yehi vivarjita pāpaka-mitrāḥ dhārmmika-mitra-parigraha teṣām ||

those whose faculties are sharp and clear, / by them bad friends are avoided; / by those by whom bad friends are avoided, / there is acceptance of friends of the Dharma;
