The fruition of malicious speech, however, is just like that of false speech, with the distinction that the tongue is three hundred yojanas in size. Yama's henchmen, taking up swords with blazing edges, hack the tongue to pieces. In another place it is devoured by jackals. He experiences extremely bitter sensation; he wails and cries out in inarticulate sounds, bereft of his tongue, and so forth.
