iti | ata eva + ārya-lalita-vistara-sūtre prativeditaṃ | śraddhāyām ānanda yogaḥ karaṇīya idaṃ tathā-gato vijñapayati + iti ||
Thus it is said. For this very reason, it is declared in the noble Lalitavistarasūtra: "Ānanda, exertion must be made in faith; this the Tathāgata makes known."
