130. The translation follows Schopen but compare NH: lha khang (Eng. “temple,” Skt. vihāra) and YJKC: snga gang or SD: snga khang (Pedurma, 742). The reading snga khang is preferred by Schopen, but the meaning is obscure; it is given in Mahāvyutpatti 5548, along with rnga khang, as being the equivalent of Skt. māṭa or māḍa, but the meaning of these terms is also obscure; see Edgerton under māḍa.
