119. A rope strung along a walkway, which meditators hold as they walk (Kalyāṇamitra, F.310.b). This instruction is depicted in the first illustration and legend from the left on F.3.b (BDRC W1EE45) of the Thirteenth Dalai Lama’s illustrations. The second instruction describes a lead or leash affixed to the rope, as depicted here. The above two instructions do not appear in the Sanskrit.
