44. Although Tib. bya ka lan da ka gnas pa seems to be a translation of *Kalandakanivāsa, this name is spelled Kalandakanivāpa in other chapters of the Vinayavastu where Skt. is extant. For the etymology of the name, see SbhvG i 163–166.
