84. Only in the Bhv and the Divy does the story of Pūrṇa in these texts continue beyond Pūrṇa’s attainment of arhatship with Pūrṇa alive. In the other parallel stories, such as SĀc 311, Taishō no. 108, MN 145, and SN 35.88, Pūrṇa achieves complete emancipation (parinirvāṇa) at this point. See Yao 2010, 3.2.1.
