"If a bhikṣu, knowing that another bhikṣu has already finished a sufficient meal, whether accepting an invitation or not having performed the ritual of leftover food, earnestly invites and gives him food, saying: 'Elder, take this food!' intending by this means and no other to cause him to commit an offense, it is a pāyattika.
