「是偈等彼梵本真言心中心，乃至三聚淨意又如是，此故行者以此偈心為觀智根本。此偈功盡劫不能說，是偈是橫竪無限意，任行者心又吉。」觀世音菩薩言：「汝順眾生機，為可說法。若有來世眾生修多聞迦野王之法者，即為延佛法壽命。若不持者，為斷佛法僧寶之壽命。若欲受持人，每日清旦合掌一心誦母明千遍，即滅無始生死以來無量重罪，生生世世常遇諸佛之世，滅罪業故。若可墮六道，依此功德不墮六道，化他故變化六道。受持一遍其功德尚多，何況曉夜三時一心精進。若行是法者，先當根本大呪十萬遍誦。先多聞迦陀野根本大陀羅尼曰：

"These verses and the like are the heart of hearts of those Sanskrit fundamental mantras, extending to the three collections of pure intention in the same manner. For this reason, the practitioner takes the meaning of these verses as the basis of contemplation and wisdom. The merit of these verses cannot be fully spoken throughout an eon; these verses have limitless meanings horizontally and vertically, and according to the practitioner's intention it is also auspicious." Avalokiteśvara Bodhisattva said: "You should expound the Dharma according to the capacities of sentient beings. If there are sentient beings in future ages who cultivate the dharma of King Vaiśravaṇa-kāra, they will prolong the lifespan of the Buddha's Dharma. If they do not uphold it, they will sever the lifespan of the Three Jewels—the Buddha, Dharma, and Saṅgha. If someone wishes to receive and uphold it, every morning with joined palms, single-mindedly recite the mother vidyā one thousand times; this will extinguish immeasurable grave sins from beginningless saṃsāra, and in lifetime after lifetime one will constantly encounter the eras of the Buddhas, because the sinful karma is extinguished. If one was destined to fall into the six destinies, by virtue of this merit one will not fall into the six destinies, but will manifest in the six destinies for the sake of transforming others. The merit of receiving and upholding it once is already vast; how much more so for one who is single-mindedly diligent during the three times of day and night! If one practices this dharma, one should first recite the fundamental great dhāraṇī one hundred thousand times. First, the fundamental great dhāraṇī of Vaiśravaṇa-kāra says:
