「修真言行者，當至心如法清淨奉持，不生一切非法惡意行事。若有一切眾生欲修護摩法，先當結鎮護自身印法則印。左右地水火內縛，風立末合作寶形，二空並臥付掌當口。念即是一切世間諸聖眾一一護身印明，我悉皆被，即印五所。明曰：

“A practitioner cultivating mantras should faithfully and purely uphold them according to the Dharma, without giving rise to any unlawful or evil intentions in his actions. If any sentient being wishes to cultivate the homa ritual, he should first form the mudrā and procedure for pacifying and protecting his own body. Inwardly clasp the earth, water, and fire fingers of both hands; erect the wind fingers, joining their tips to form a jewel shape; lay the two space fingers side by side against the palms, facing the mouth. Contemplate that these are each of the protective mudrās and vidyās of all holy assemblies in the world, and that I am completely clad in them; then seal five places. The vidyā says:
