爾時多聞寶藏吽迦陀王告一切眾生言：「我守護佛法僧，為覆護三界眾生。又為南閻浮提五濁惡世若出家比丘僧、比丘尼僧，若在家優婆塞、優婆夷等守護。有大陀羅尼法，並大縛一切惡偈呪，名曰根本普通真言、如意寶珠真言、大禁縛大祕密真言、成萬事真言、大禁縛吽迦陀野相應忿怒偈呪。有善男子善女人乃至畜生等，聞是真言等名字又我名字，歸依此法，誦持真言密印法，生生世世不蒙一切災難病患、不生諸惡國、不生墮十八地獄苦、不相無量怨敵，常值遇善友善知識、修行佛道、得無量福德，自在修得阿耨多羅三藐三菩提。是故多聞王為一切眾生說普禮法。彼印金剛合掌，彼普禮真言曰：

At that time, the King Vaiśravaṇa Hūṃkāra addressed all sentient beings, saying: "I protect the Buddha, the Dharma, and the Saṅgha, and shield sentient beings of the three realms. Furthermore, I guard those in the evil age of the five turbidities in Jambudvīpa, whether ordained monks and nuns, or laymen and laywomen. There is a Great Dhāraṇī teaching along with verse-incantations for binding all evil, named the Fundamental Universal Mantra, the Cintāmaṇi Mantra, the Great Binding and Great Secret Mantra, the Mantra for Accomplishing All Affairs, and the Wrathful Verse-Incantation of the Great Binding Hūṃkāra Yoga. If there are good men, good women, or even animals and the like who hear the names of these mantras or my name, take refuge in this teaching, and recite and uphold the mantras and secret mudrās, in life after life they will not suffer any disasters or illnesses, will not be born in evil lands, will not fall into the torments of the eighteen hells, will not encounter boundless enemies, will always meet good friends and kalyāṇamitras, will practice the Buddha Path, will obtain boundless merit and virtue, and will freely cultivate and attain anuttarasamyaksambodhi. Therefore, King Vaiśravaṇa speaks the method of universal salutation for all sentient beings. Its mudrā is the vajrāñjali. Its universal salutation mantra is:"
