「又結淨堂內印，左右地水並各方掌內入，又各方當空指以各方地水三中間著，左右火左火本著左右火末右。又如是左右風作寶形，堂內次淨，又印五處即成。依是真言印，所欲堂內皆悉淨，諸無惡虫等之難。真言曰：

"Next, form the Mudrā for Purifying the Hall. Place the earth and water fingers of both left and right hands together inside the palms. Place the thumb of each hand between the three fingers of earth and water on each side. Touch the base of the left fire finger with the left fire finger [of the right hand?], and touch the right with the tip of the left fire finger. Also, shape the left and right wind fingers like a jewel. The hall is thus purified. Touching the five places with this mudrā will complete it. By virtue of this mantra and mudrā, whatever hall is desired will be completely purified, and there will be no disasters from harmful insects and the like. The mantra is:
