「次即結聖者吽迦陀野入三昧耶護身印，即是精進波羅蜜具足。彼印二手合掌，二水並入掌中叉，二火未相柱，二風二火背相付鉤形無去，二地並立，二空入內並立。辟除結界並印五處。其五所者，額、右肩、次左肩、次心、次喉，即印引頂上被散當心，即念此印大火聚相，即觀羅字。真言曰：

"Next, form the mudrā of the Noble Hūṃkāra for entering the samaya and protecting the body, which is the perfection of vīryapāramitā. For that mudrā: join both hands in añjali, interlock both water [ring] fingers inside the palms, with the tips of the two fire [middle] fingers not yet touching each other; bring the backs of the two wind [index] fingers and the two fire fingers together in hook-shapes without releasing them; erect both earth [little] fingers together; insert both space [thumbs] inside, standing together. Expel and establish the sīmābandha, and touch the five locations with the mudrā. The five locations are the forehead, the right shoulder, then the left shoulder, then the heart, and then the throat. Then raise the mudrā over the crown of the head, release it at the heart, visualize this mudrā with the appearance of a great mass of fire, and contemplate the syllable RA. The mantra is:"
