4.41

「我念過去世，曾作人中王，
慳悋於寶藏，今受龍王身。
又願諸國王，慈慧普拯濟，
治化以正法，莫復受龍身。」

“I recall that in a past life I was once a king among men;
Because I was stingy with my treasures, I now have received this body of a nāga king.
May all kings universally rescue [beings] with kindness and wisdom,
Govern and transform according to the true Dharma, and never again receive the body of a nāga!”
