1.35

此陀羅尼，四十二億諸佛所說。若諸行人有能書寫讀誦此陀羅尼者，現世當為千佛所護，此人命終不墮惡道，當生兜率天上面覩彌勒。又有眾生能修行此陀羅尼者，斷食七日，純服牛乳，中時一食更無雜食，一日一夜六時懺悔。十方佛前悔先所作，億千姟劫所有重罪一時都盡，分部、破戒亦悉都盡。五逆殃惡及一闡提，殷重悔過悉得滅除。於六時中一時十遍，空閑淨室若在塔中，此人心若淳厚，我於爾時當往其所。此人以見我故心轉淳厚，心淳厚故得見千佛手摩其頭即與授記，宿世殃惡永滅無餘。

This dhāraṇī was spoken by forty-two billion Buddhas. If practitioners can write down, read, and recite this dhāraṇī, in this present life they will be protected by a thousand Buddhas, and upon the end of their lives they will not fall into evil destinies, but will be born in the Tuṣita heaven to see Maitreya face to face. Furthermore, if there are sentient beings who can cultivate this dhāraṇī: fast for seven days, consuming only cow's milk, taking one meal at midday with no other food, and repent during the six periods of the day and night. Repenting before the Buddhas of the ten directions for their past deeds, all grave sins spanning billions and nayutas of eons will be completely exhausted at once, and sectarian divisions and precept-breakings will also be completely eliminated. The evil calamaties of the five heinous offenses and the icchantika, through earnest repentance, will all be extinguished. In the six periods, ten times in each period, in a quiet, clean room or within a stupa, if this person's mind is pure and sincere, I will then go to their place. Because this person sees me, their mind will become even more pure and sincere; because their mind is pure and sincere, they will be able to see a thousand Buddhas stroking the crown of their head with their hands and immediately bestowing vyākaraṇa, and the evils of past lifetimes will be eradicated forever without remainder.
