2.21

釋摩男今欲說神呪，擁護諸眾生，國土虛弱事、刀兵及寇賊，疫病悉皆消滅。所說大神呪，功用力如是。

Mahānāma now wishes to pronounce a dhāraṇī-mantra: / To protect all sentient beings, / So that the state's weakness, / Weapons, warfare, bandits, and thieves, / As well as pestilences, are entirely extinguished. / The great dhāraṇī-mantra pronounced / Has efficacious power such as this.
