4.87

正語梵天現女身，白佛言：「世尊！若四部弟子淨自洗浴著新淨衣，燒沈水香，三日斷食誦此呪者，我若不至其所滿其所願者，我為欺誑十方諸佛，亦莫令我得阿耨多羅三藐三菩提。若有人惡心向此人者，心即乾燥，舉眼視者眼開脫出，若口道說者身生艾白瘡，若依水住者他方狂風吹至他方世界。

Right-Speech Brahmā manifested in a female body and addressed the Buddha, saying: 'World-Honoured One! If any of the four classes of disciples cleanly bathes themselves, puts on fresh and clean clothes, burns agarwood incense, fasts for three days, and recites this mantra, if I do not arrive at their place to fulfill their wishes, may I be guilty of deceiving the buddhas of the ten directions and never attain anuttarā-samyak-saṃbodhi. If anyone directs an evil mind toward this person, their heart will immediately dry up; if they raise their eyes to look at them, their eyes will burst open and fall out; if their mouth speaks against them, their body will produce white mugwort sores; and if they dwell by water, fierce winds from other regions will blow them away to other worlds.
