應以此持呪童女所作縷，呪二十一遍，作二十一結，以繫手指。呿陀羅橛已釘著地，是名繫藥方。法意然後掘身，當有種種形像。

One should use thread spun by a maiden while holding this mantra, chant the mantra twenty-one times, make twenty-one knots, and tie it around the fingers. When the khadira-wood stake has been driven into the ground, this is called the method of binding herbs. After the intended ritual, dig up the root, and there will appear various forms.
