9.73

東方佛號等行如來至真等正覺，人若東行歸命彼佛。南西北方四維亦爾。若欲臥時稱下方佛，起稱上方佛。

The Buddha of the eastern direction is named Tathāgata, Arhat, Samyaksambuddha Equal Practice; if a person travels east, take refuge in that Buddha. The same applies to the south, west, north, and the four intermediate directions. When about to sleep, call upon the Buddha of the zenith; upon rising, call upon the Buddha of the nadir.
