禪帶有五事：一者當廣一尺；二者當長八尺；三者當頭有鉤；四者當三重；五者不得用生草，亦不得用金鉤。

There are five matters regarding the meditation belt: first, it must be one chi wide; second, it must be eight chi long; third, it must have a hook at the end; fourth, it must be threefold; fifth, one must not use raw grass, nor may one use a gold hook.
