比丘僧飯時有五事：一者上座未坐不得先坐、二者上座未受案不得先受、三者上座未飯不得先飯、四者上座飯未訖不得先止、五者上座未起不得先起。

When the bhikṣusaṅgha dines, there are five matters: first, before the sthavira sits, one must not sit first; second, before the sthavira receives the meal table, one must not receive it first; third, before the sthavira eats, one must not eat first; fourth, before the sthavira finishes eating, one must not stop first; fifth, before the sthavira stands up, one must not stand up first.
